I have had a number of books published over the past decade or so including  Chris Gollon: Humanity in Art, The Dog: 5,000 Years of the Dog in Art and The Horse: 30,000 Years of the Horse in Art, with other art books including, Impressionism, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Turner, Whistler, Monet, Van Gogh and Fifty Paintings You Should Know

Equestrian titles include Budget Horse and Pony Care, The Horse Lover's Bible, and the Encyclopedia of Horses and Ponies.

A Bit About Me!

Daughter of an artist and a veterinary surgeon.

Age 4 learnt to ride on a Welsh racing donkey, winner of 21 gold cups.

Moved on to horses, became obsessed, rode/ride a lot, won a little.

Spent a lot of time in a dream world.

Fell in love with Ireland and the mouse that lived under the sofa.

Travelled widely.

Graduated from Reading University with an honours degree in History of Art and Architecture.

Picked melons in Australia.

Won a scholarship to study History of Art in Venice, Italy.

Built windows in North Dakota, US.

Made sausage in a meat plant in South Dakota, US. NEVER AGAIN.

Paint, draw, create.

Write, write, write.

Crashingly boring 9-5 job in London for a very short time.

Ran off to the US, hooked up with a cowboy, lived on a cattle ranch for 10 years.

Wrote The Encyclopedia of Horses and Ponies in 1998, my first published book.

Began freelance writing and ghost writing.

Wrote some children's stories and a couple of art books.

Started researching a book on horses and art.

Won a little money wrestling pigs.

Wrote a few more books.

Returned to England, published The Horse: 30,000 Years of the Horse in Art, followed by a few more books.

Then The Dog: 5,000 Years of the Dog in Art.

Jumped out of an airplane.

Wrote Chris Gollon: Humanity in Art - what an eye opener!

Planning expedition to the Arctic.

Still writing, still dreaming ...
